I want to first say THANK YOU for all the wonderful resources! As a school librarian it is very hard to find materials for teaching library skills but I know I can ALWAYS find what I need from Upstart and Library Sparks. But I also would like to let you know that I was unable to download the December early literacy calendar. I use this in our Preschool program each month and I wouldn’t want to leave december out! So if you could let me know what I am doing wrong I’d greatly appreciate any help getting the calendar.

I am also having problems downloading December’s EL Calendar – had no problems in previous months. Help would be much appreciated.

Hi, Ruth. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. I had a web designer look into the problem and correct it for us. The calendar should be back to an easily downloadable format. Thanks for alerting us about this situation.

FABULOUS! Thank you so very much, Elesa…as a literacy advocate, children’s author, and former kindergarten teacher, I am in love with your calendar. Encouraging parents to spend a little reading, crafting, and cooking time with young children is a great way to develop literacy skills and strengthen the parent-child connection.

Thank you, Vivian, for the kind words! We are very happy to hear that you are enjoying the calendar. We couldn’t agree more on the importance of parental involvement when it comes to building early literacy skills.
