Boopsie Joins Demco, Brings Libraries to the People

Boopsie LogoCustomer service is paramount to the success of today’s libraries and having the ability to reach customers in new ways as technology changes is critical. With over 69% of library patrons using mobile apps to access information, it is clear that this is a technology that will continue to grow in importance.

With this in mind, we are pleased to introduce you to Boopsie, now an affiliate of the Demco, Inc. family of brands via a recent acquisition by the Wall Family Enterprise.

As the leading mobile platform-as-a-service provider, Boopsie offers libraries mobile application tools (apps) that link patrons to online library materials and services. The goal of these apps is to improve both access to and usage of library materials and Boopsie customers couldn’t be happier with the results they see when they introduce these tools in their libraries.

These tools allow access to cataloged data and resources, as well as, non-cataloged data such as programs, locations, social media and more.

The addition of Boopsie allows for the expansion of the technology offerings available to all of our customers. The synergies between the companies will foster the development of additional products and solutions to address the changing role that technology is playing in the constantly evolving library.

Both Boopsie and Demco strive to stay in touch with customer needs and efficiently deliver a wide breadth of value-driven products and services allowing library staff to focus on serving their customers.
